A different kind of washing machine
Imagine a washing machine that did not need any detergent, would that not be eco friendly? It appears that there is such a machine. It works on the hydrolysis principle, where the actually molecules of the water are split, creating oxygen and hydrogen.

The Haier WasH20 is a machine of French design and manufacture, by splitting the molecules it some makes the water more acidy which is supposed to sterilize the clothing, before returning back to basic water before the end of the cycle.
This machine is available in the stores at around $1000, but the science behind it, is something else.
