A Portable Eco-Friendly Car Wash in New York
As far as green and cleanliness is concerned, a mobile carwash is on its way to New York and it is certainly something many people would be looking forward to. Called the Geo Wash, it is a handcart filled with water to hand wash each car that would be interested in it. The said cart uses a quarter of a gallon of water to wash a single vehicle.
For entrepreneurs, Geo Wash can also be a good business to invest on. Going green and earning some green as well while your at it!
The Manhattan-based Geo Wash is partnering with Zipcar, of Cambridge, MA, a car sharing company, allowing the washes to be conducted at Zipcar’s parking garages in the city.
Marc Martilotta, one of Geowash’s New York partners, said in the report, “We want to be an existing presence. If you pull into ‘X,’ ‘Y’ or ‘Z’ garage and see a sign for Geowash, you can get your car washed while you’re at a show or at dinner.”
Martilotta said he thinks washes will cost between $18 and $20 each.
