American Midwest’s New Green Tower
The Roberts Tower in St. Louis Missouri is the first high-rise building in the Midwest to receive Gold LEED Certification by the US Green Building Council.
The tower will be built out of sustainable materials, and reduce energy use by 50-70%. It will also have a vigorous recycling program and all the units will be equipped with energy-efficient appliances and low-flo faucets, toilets and showers.
The tower is expected to be finished by 2009. For more information, check out the tower’s website!
