Normally items like bowls and plates etc are not normally available in biodegradable materials, UK designer Tom Dixon as come up with a material that is both sturdy and biodegradable.

  • If these bowls wind up in a landfill, then they will be there for a long time as very little biodegradation takes place in a landfill.

    If these bowls are designed to be composted then they should be labeled as "compostable" and meet EN 13432.
