Biodegradable Landscape Anchor Pin

by erin on Saturday, May 26th, 2007

There pins are great for gardening and landscaping. After sculpting your land, you can use these pins to keep it all in place, and they biodegrades after it sets. (I’m sorry if my gardening terminology is terribly wrong there, but I’m sure you get the idea!)

Since I know next to nothing about gardening, let me let their website do the talking:

EcoPin is a new biodegradable landscape anchor pin which is suitable for anchoring and staking landscape fabric, newly laid sod, paper mulch mats, plastic film and sheeting to the ground in landscaping, horticultural, agricultural and gardening applications.

EcoPins replaces steel pins and staples and will weigh about 25 pounds per 1000, making them much more affordable to ship than alternative products.

EcoPins unique barbed shaft improves the pin’s anchoring power in soil.

The pins are available for varying prices (it depends on your order!) through their website!
