There are folks who for some reason would be requiring some implants embedded inside their bodies but the thing is that there may be problems along the way, especially if they are placed improperly or cause some complications along the way.
Normally that would mean another operation or surgery to correct the problem but perhaps no longer necessary if these biodegradable implants would be used.
These biodegradable implants come from the University of Illinois, Tufts University and Northwestern University where scientists have reportedly come up with a new kind of silicon that is infused with magnesium and comes wrapped in silk.
The implants can also reportedly dissolve in water, something which can also be used for environmental disasters since they can easily melt away.
The biodegradable chips could be implanted and set to dissolve on its own — eliminating the need for a second operation to remove the device.
