Boots Made From Plastic Bags

by David Allen on Wednesday, December 31st, 2008

At first glance, these boots look like any other pair of fashion boots, but these are something completely different as they are made from recycled plastic bags. This is made through a process known as fusing, where layers of plastic bags are fused together to make a material type fabric.

The interior is then covered in a cotton fabric, which would make the boot more comfortable and save the persons foot from getting over heated. As such, these boots have been called Dacca, which is after the capital of Bangladesh, Dhaka that happens to be the most plastic bag polluted city in the world.
