Bowls Made From Waste Wood

by David Allen on Thursday, November 13th, 2008

You often see around wooded areas and forests fallen trees, this is usually used for fire wood and there is nothing wrong with that, because it is a sustainable fuel. However, sometimes it would be good if this waste wood could be used for something else.

Designer Doha Chebib obviously felt the same, by coming up with a range of solid log bowls. These bowls are all unique with no two being the same, yet they are colourful and functional too. The wood has been recovered from fallen trees and waste wood from storms and developments.

The bowls may be heavy and slightly awkward to hold, but they are truly wonderful too.
