Carbon Credits Being Auctioned Off
Limbo 41414 is partnering with Green Living entrepreneur, Meredith Thomas of San Francisco, to auction off carbon credits in a program they call “Cover Your Tracks.” In this auction, the lowest bidder will win enough carbon credits to neutralize their footprint for an entire year.
“Sweepstakes are inherently selfish endeavors. It’s all about an individual winning $50,000 or a new car,” explained Jonathon Linner, CEO of Limbo 41414. “But this Limbo Auction gives our players a chance to learn about how they can make a difference and to win a prize where the real winner is the environment. And, in the end, we’re all better off.”
The winner will have their carbon neutralized by Limbo 41414 for up to $300. So, really, this isn’t an event to go carbon crazy, but rather to do your part, learn a little and have some fun.
