Chatfield Charter School Constructs Earth Education Center

Willows, Earth Education Center

For Chatfield Charter School, using its current resources to help contribute to the green efforts the world is currently grooming itself in is the most important thing today. The Willows is the new educational center that is being worked upon to provide better understanding to the students when it comes to environmental awareness.

Indeed it may seem to be a hefty investment but the price to pay for such may be worth every penny considering it is for a greener and social cause that starts from the young people who will benefit in the coming years.

School leaders say the cost will be worth every penny if students learn how to save the world by creating healthy environments.

“(Our building) is important because it doesn’t pollute the environment as much,” Chatfield fifth-grader Glacier Wallington, 11, said of the 5,700-square-foot center set to open in February.
