Christmas Tree Recycling In Jackson, MS

by Missy on Tuesday, December 30th, 2008

Just got word that there is free Christmas tree recycling in Jackson, MS. The local daily paper reports that for a few days used Christmas trees will be accepted at four different locations and turned into mulch.

The four different locations are listed below:

  • Mynelle Gardens, 4736 Clinton Blvd.
  • Parham Bridges Park, 5055 Old Canton Road
  • Sykes Park, 520 Sykes Road
  • Dizzy Dean Museum, 1326 Lakeland Drive

The mulch made from the recycled Christmas trees will be made available to residents for free starting January 12th.

Nice to know my local community is getting in the act of going green.

  • It is important to recycle your tree after Christmas. Why put a tree that was cut down to waste when you can at least get another use out of it. One example is getting mulch out of it.
