Could this be the end for the tent?

by David Allen on Saturday, July 7th, 2007

A great new product has appeared on the market. A tent made from waterproofed cardboard and plastic, sounds strange? Well it may do, but this tent could be the dream abode for all festival goers in years to come.

Made by MyHab the idea is that festival organizers will order in the tents and then they can be “Rented” for the weekend. MyHab bring the tents to the site, put them up and when the festival is over they will then dismantle and dispose of them, how green is that!

The tent itself has will provide accommodation for two, cushioned base, lighting and even a PIN activated locker. On top of that the actual tent can be personalized with the name of the organizer.

This is a great idea from MyHab, not just for festivals, but also for use temporary accommodation anywhere and for any situation.
