Dell Aims to be Greenest Tech Company
Dell recently made the ambitious announcement that its new goal is to become the greenest company in the tech business.
“Our goal is simple and clear,” Michael Dell, Chairman and CEO said in a written statement. “We’ll take the lead in setting an environmental standard for our industry that will reflect our partnership with, and direct feedback from, our customers, suppliers and stakeholders, and we intend to maintain that leadership.”
Dell pledges to reduce its carbon footprint by 15% by the year 2015. It is also expanding their “Plant a Tree for Me” campaign to its European markets and it soliciting their customers for more ideas on hoe Dell cna go green.
