Discovery Channel Transforms to Planet Green
Don’t look now but Discovery Communications is damn serious about enhancing and pushing for a greener world. With plans of renaming its entire cable television program to the Planet Green, it has added another blockbuster transaction to its planning stages by making it public that they will buy Treehugger.com, a well-known green loyalist and contributor towards the whole world green effort.
“Bringing TreeHugger.com into the Discovery family gives it the resources to continue doing what it does best: bringing green living to the masses,” Bruce Campbell, president of Discovery’s digital media, said in a written statement.
