Lemon Powered Clock

by Brian Yalung on Friday, December 26th, 2008

The design is great and so is the concept. But as far as using oranges or lemons to power this clock is something that is really intriguing. Apparently the clock operates on the citrus levels of lemons or oranges via the copper and zinc of the clock but it is really intriguing if other forms of fruit will be used.

While the use of citrus fruits are something to ponder on, some people may not be that too enthusiastic about using citrus for energy. Though their odor can help raise the ambiance level of a room, it is something that consumers may find a total waste of time and energy as far as soliciting the power for the clock is concerned.

  • Wow... Just wow.

Doesn't it seem like it's kind of a waste of delicious lemons and oranges though?

The citrus lover in me is attracted and repulsed simultaneously by this technologically remarkable product. ;)
  • Great invention. The only minus is that these lemonst will be uneatable.
