Easy Tips on Recycling Old Books
Maybe you have a ton of books laying around or have amassed quite a collection for which you have less and less space for. Look into the book recycling options below, and give them new life in a new home.
- Donate your books to a library
- Sell college books directly to other students and let them save a TON of money
- Set up a table at your church where people can drop off their old magazines and other people can buy them for 50 cents. Then give the money to charity.
- Drop off at a local Goodwill or Salvation Army
- Help literacy abroad by donating books to the Int’l Book Project
- Recycle books at a local book recycling facility
- Mail direct to Local Prison Libraries
There are many resources available to dispose of your used (but good) books in an environmentally sound way, be sure to look first at your LOCAL resources. Hope this list is a good starting point in getting you to think of recycling your books. Feel free to comment and leave your own groovy ideas.
