Eco friendly bubble wrap

by David Allen on Friday, August 17th, 2007

It seems to be a strange contradiction, that bubble warp can actually be eco friendly. Yet a company in the UK has come up with an eco friendly version of this popular packing material.

The reason why this is green, is because they use a compstable film which meets the European standards for this type of compostable and also biodegradable plastics. It will in fact 90% decompose within 90 days.

This is a great achivement, because the product itself is used in many storage solutions and would literally be a waste if it could not be recycled in some manner.
