Eco-Friendly Designer Bags

We all know that each woman today would prefer a signature bag over the normal hand bags they see at the nearby boutique. While this is more of a mental habit that we have inherited, the changing times today have led some people to try and become a bit more green-friendly in the sense that they are slowly checking out the eco-friendly fashion available in the market.
A lot of this turn of events can be credited towards the celebrities who have provided a helping hand in adopting the green friendly products out in the market today. And we are all aware at how they influence the buying behavior especially if fashion is the main attraction of it all.
The lastest report from global research company Mintel forecasts that the sales of expensive luxury handbags will decrease in 2008.
Sales of the so-called ‘it-bags’ – must-have designer bags, endorsed by celebrities – grew 139% between 2002 and 2007. In fact, over the last three years, the market has seen 30% year on year growth to reach £468 million in 2007. But, according to Mintel, things are about to change.
