Eco-Friendly Dishware from Verterra

by Brian Yalung on Thursday, December 11th, 2008

If you are planning to buy new dishes and dinnerware, you may want to try out this new line of dishware from Verterra. With the holidays coming up, there is no better way to celebrate the season of cheer with new dishware that carry an eco-friendly tag to go with it.

Verterra has designed a whole line of esthetically pleasing, reusable, sustainable and biodegradable dishware. These dishes come in an array of sizes suitable for using as serving platters, as well as individual plates and bowls.

Most people are turning to these lines of dishware and apparently applying the eco-friendly touch would not hurt. They weigh in a bit on the pricey side, for disposable dishes, ranging from $7.99 for a 10-pack of 6” plates to $12 for a pack of 10X12” serving platters.

  • I support reusable products, but I don't actually get this one. Why would I buy these plates, when my ceramic ones are perfectly good. If plates are biodegradable, then they should be meant for one usage only. But to make them biodegradable and reusable is kinda illogical.
