Eco-Friendly Garden Hose Nozzles

We are all aware that to water plants, the control on the amount of water we use should be addressed. With water being a scarce resource, the need to save on it has become apparent. Hoses are being discouraged by most but while others disregard it, the issue is really beyond the hands of anyone right now. Hence, for the ones who prefer the use of garden hoses, here is are a couple of water hose solutions that may offer an alternative to push water that is limited in some regions.

Ningbo Zhenhai Zhong Zheng Garden Tools introduces an oscillating sprinkler fitted with a switch that controls the angle and diameter of the spray. The latter can be set from 10 to 15m. Also, Aifa Hangzhou Lawn and Garden Accessories Co. Ltd has developed a humidity controller that prompts a system to begin distributing water when the dryness of the ground where it is installed reaches the specified parameter.

Depending on what system you use, manual or the modern ones, one thing is important overall. Save on water and make use of them wisely. Consumers are looking for efficient ways of using them but apparently further improvements are in order. And that is perhaps what these two Chinese companies are aiming to accomplish.

  • They look nice, but my question would be how long will they hold up? They seem to be plastic, an in my experience, plastic hose fittings never seem to last. They always break when accidentally dropped. The best alternative IMO is using rainbarrels. The most efficient method of outdoor water use.
  • If you were to pair an eco-friendly garden hose with a unique seed infused greeting card.
