Eco friendly non-stick product

by David Allen on Thursday, August 9th, 2007

Generally non-stick is not very eco friendly, but Green Pan obviously is, other wise why call it that in the first place? Anyway joking aside the non-stick part of the pans would normally be coming from Polytetrafluoroethylene (PFTE), which with a name like that just cannot be good for the environment.

The Green Pan non-stick system comes from a ceramic based nano coating, which can withstand up to 850 degrees, whereas normal non-stick can only reach 500 degrees, so you burn more food but be green at the same time!

The six piece set will cost $89.90.
