Printers have been the highlight of some people, particularly their ink-consumption. But while many are turning to refilling or eco-friendly alternatives, you can add another potential ink cartridge replacement in the form of something no one even considered thinking of. This new alternative printer ink concept is tapping the coffee and tea resources to carry out the printing needs of consumers today.

The concept comes from RiTi printers. The RiTi Printer replaces traditional printer ink with coffee or tea. They are perfectly readable which makes them a good alternative. The concept of the RiTi printer does not require a power source for the actual printing process which is also something that traditional printers require. The printout is created by moving the ink case left and right manually.

  • This is a very interesting concept. Products seem to be getting smaller and smaller these days, and I'm sure this is just the first in a new wave of printing options that will become increasingly available to consumers over the next couple of years.
