Eco MSI Netbook Announced
Most laptops are green by nature, as their compact size makes them generally more energy efficient. The new mini laptops, otherwise known as netbooks, are even more energy conscious. MSI is an up and coming brand in the netbook space and has recently announced the launch of a new GREEN netbook model – the U110 Eco Wind Netbook.
This model offers a lightweight casing and an above average battery life, among other goodies. The MSI ECO Netbook press release makes note of the fact that this mini includes a hard drive, whereas many of the other netbooks don’t carry one. This may (or may not) be a selling point. But it is a neat feature for those who don’t like the idea of internal hard drives or for those who dont want to carry around an extra external drive.
So to summarize – essentially what makes this netbook green from what i gather, is its “super long lasting battery life”. Price and availability – Not known.
My roommate recently bought a mini MSI, it’s quite cute and perfect for on the go action.
