Fair Trade High Heel Slides, Out Of Season Steal At $25
I know the weather is not as warm as it was a month or two ago, but there is still plenty of sunshine left in many US states. So these fair trade heel slides i found are still a good bet.
The slide comes with a 2 inch stacked heel, solid brass hardware, and has an antique finish. Also has a cork footbed. Made in Spain.
What Makes It Fair Trade?
Because of notoriously low wages in stadium-sized footwear factories, many shoe makers in prosperous countries are closing their doors. Spain has a long history in producing quality footwear, and we are honored to buy some of ours from Mr. Pedro Iniesta, one of the few folks in Spain still striving to keep his company and his employees working, despite the economic odds. Most of his workers have been with him for over 15 years and would have a difficult time finding other employment with their shoemaking skills. But Mr. Iniesta considers his workers family and provides them with a comfortable workplace, generous pay and benefits, and a sense of mission. Providing customers throughout the world with well-made shoes made by people who can prosper in their work.
The best part? Since they are (kind of) out of season, you can snag a pair for $25. Nice!
