Fall Out Boy’s Tour to Be Green (Well, sort of)
Honda is sponsoring the latest tour of the band Fall Out Boy. And that’s not all they are doing. Honda is ensuring that the tour is eco-friendly and is hoping to win over the band’s fan base with green marketing.

Buzznet feeds the content to Friendsorenemies.com which get a chance to monetize its band-fan social networking template by offering Fall Out followers as much minutiae as any zealot can stand including backstage clips, videotaped answers to fan questions, musician blogs, daily camera-phone photos, plus user-generated video comments.
Ann Palmer, marketing chief for Honda, explains “Fall Out Boy’s personal passion for hybrid technology makes them the ideal partner for the tour, which continues to be committed to raising environmental consciousness.”
And Honda gets the Civic exposed to a whole new generation of car-drivers.
