Fresh salad all year round
This is a good idea that could help you eat healthily all year round. This is a mini hydroponics centre which will enable you to grow whatever type of vegetable that you like, within reason, it’s down to size.
The thing is that you cannot get more local than this, but all you get with the kit is herbs such as cilantro, chives, Italian basil, red Rubin basil, dill, mint and parsley, but for only $20 you can buy a pack that will allow you to grow cherry tomatoes, salad greens, petunia flowers, and chilli peppers.
The set which includes the herb pack is priced at around $200, although at some places it is on sale at around $150!
