Furniture Made From Recycled Signs

by David Allen on Wednesday, February 18th, 2009

There are plenty of old road signs that are no longer required by the local authorities, these are simply scrapped, ending up in the scrap yard for a long time. Fortunately, there are some brave artists who are not afraid climb around the piles of twisted metal to find the right materials.

One such artist is Boris Bally, a regular visitor to the scrap yard where his finds go towards the making of some really unusual furniture. Most road signs are colourful and are made from aluminium, which is light, making it ideal for this use, and of course, every item is going to be different.
