Glasgow Gets Fleet Of Green Cars
Glasgow in Scotland have become the first council in the UK to change their fleet of car to the ultra green machine the new VW Polo Bluemotion, this car is believed to be one of the most eco friendly cars for its class in the Europe.
These cars will be used the staff of the council as they go out their daily business, but because these cars are ultra green the council will in fact be saving around £600,000 ($900,000) over the duration of the contract, of which £157,000 ($220,000) will be from the savings in fuel.
