Government Buildings Ooze Co2

The UK government estimate that a fifth of all carbon dioxide emissions come from non-residential buildings and they should know because many of the UK government buildings have been exposed as the least energy efficient buildings in the country.

Amongst the worst buildings are the Houses of Parliament, the Bank of England and the National Media Museum in Bradford. The Bank of England and the Parliament buildings together produce 21,356 tonnes of Co2 per year, which is the same as fourteen thousand people flying from London to New York.
