Green Homes In New Orleans, Survive Gustav
Ecorazzi reports that the Brad Pitt green homes, part of the MakeItRight NOLA, project have survived Gustav.
Brad Pitt created the Make It Right NOLA foundation after Katrina hit 3 years ago, and the goal is to create 150 eco friendly homes in New Orleans for displaced families. So far one is about ready for a family to move in, while the others are under construction. 84 out of the 150 homes are under sponsorship, and the project is moving along briskly.
Luckily for many residents of New Orleans the hurricane known as Gustav didn’t turn out to be as brutal as Katrina, and many residents are already on their way back home.
