Hankook Looks Ahead with Eco-Friendly Tires

Aligning everything that is a mess today starting from the growing oil price hikes down to the eco-friendly issues the world has to deal with today, Hankook, a renowned tire manufacturing company, has used these factors as its benchmark towards contributing to the eco-friendly efforts.
With the entry of its eco-friendly tire, Enfren, this eco-friendly tire is composed of special silica compounds and structural design efficiencies to help the transport owners enjoy a more steadier ride which will help a lot towards the eco-friendly efforts of addressing the gasoline consumption issues.
Enfren has been lauched in South Korea only but it will just be a matter of time before we can see Hankook going global as well.
“As Hankook looks to continue its growth globally, and in the U.S. market in particular, we realize our products moving forward need to deliver further fuel efficiency benefits to meet our customers’ needs,” said Greg Pae, president of Hankook Tire America Corp. “Our Technical Center in Akron works closely with Hankook’s main R&D facilities in Korea to develop leading-edge technologies that will ultimately deliver the environmentally friendly tires more and more consumers will demand.”
