Noble Food Green Eggs

Sometimes, going green also includes the thing we eat and put into our stomach. This includes the usual coffee and eggs, much of which we don’t even care on how they get to the grocery shelves prior to purchasing them. All we know is we have to satisfy our needs as far as hunger is concerned but the whole eco-friendly area for consideration is totally left out.

Noble Foods, Great Britain’s leading egg company has launched its eco-friendly eggs called “Ecowise”. Now you may think, how do eggs become eco-friendly? Well remember how an egg is laid? Just go to the source. Breeding the hens which lay the egg while providing a recyclable packaging to adhere towards green principles we hear of today.

The way that hens are brought up can be the telling factor of the health nutrients that it gives to us. Remember, there are feeds and the environment of these breeding hens to consider. Their manner of reproduction lies heavily on this and for Noble Foods, it all starts there.

“Noble Foods as a company is planning a range of initiatives to reduce packaging materials and the impact we have on the environment. The packaging on our Ecowise eggs is made from recycled and compostable materials and eventually we would like to take the labels off the pack too.”

  • This is totally true. I actually buy my eggs from a local farm from up state New York (I'm in NYC)that are raised totally organically and free range. the farm it's self is self sustainable and I bring back the egg carton every week for the farm to re-use. It would be great if we could get back to locally purchasing our goods. For some people this is not a possibility, so this type of product is a great option.
  • Yes it is. Breakfast is my favorite meal of the day and for sure, the health aspect of breakfast meals will be important. Hopefully they expand to all places especially Asia.
