How to eco wrap your presents
It’s fantastic how a simple problem can be solved with a bit of mathematics.

The following equation will mean that you will never have any more wasted wrapping paper or a small present that has a complete sheet of paper covering it. So here’s how: The wrapping paper needs to as long as the side of the present with no more than 2 cm’s over. But the width has to be at least a little more than the width and depth of the gift. Or in other words, a1 = 2 (ab+ac+bc+c2) simple when you know how.
