If you’re on a budget (and who isn’t nowadays) and you want to incorporate more green living in your life? Take a look below at some tips just for you.

1. Try discount retailers for green products – Retailers such as Walmart and Target offer a series of products that are environmentally-friendly at low prices. Target

– Do you really need a new cell phone every 6 months? Probably not. How about a new video game console for the kids every year? Again most likely not necessary. It’s time to re-evaluate annual consumption, and really get down to what is driving this incessant need to shop, shop, and shop for the latest. Yes! we Americans love shiny pretty new things, we do. Let’s admit it. But how about we lessen the rebuy cycle abit, and not replace so often things that really dont need replacing in the first place. This will also teach our kids to not be crazy constant shoppers, but to instead buy high quality items and hold on to them longer. Cost of this idea? Priceless.
