It doesn’t matter if you plan to throw a huge neighborhood Halloween house party or a nice small intimate soiree for family and friends. You can eco it just the same. See how below.
1. Eco Friendly Decor -
We have written about eco friendly Halloween decor before here and here but every year that passes, there are more and more decorations added to the inventory of online retailers. So revisit our previous entries and see what’s new now. Things like wall decals, your lights, table cloth, plates and silverware, outside Halloween decor and more can all be eco friendly. Either because of how its made, where its made or just where and when you buy it.
2. Organic or Meatless Finger Food -
Another relatively easy way to make your Halloween party more eco is via your choice of food. If you opt to have organic or vegetarian food, this is one excellent way to lessen your carbon footprint. Not too mention, a tasty way to impress guests as there’s so many yummy veggie meals you can make. From Spinach or Hummus dip and chips to veggie pizza and mushroom cream cheese bites to fruit oriented treats. There’s tons you can do or make and have it be an absolute blast for your guests.
3. Green Costumes and Accessories -
What would a Halloween house party be without cool and fun costumes? But did you know there are eco friendly costumes you can buy. Or you can alternatively go the DIY route and make your own. Every year, some families try to outdo themselves via new homemade costumes. They see if they can create something better and more awesome than last year – what a fun way to celebrate Halloween.
As you can see, there are a number of things you can do to make your next Halloween house party more eco friendly. From the decor to the costumes and even the food you serve; can make all the difference. This year try a new and fun way to make it as planet friendly as you can and still have a spooky good time.
