HP Introduces Eco Batteries

by David Allen on Thursday, December 11th, 2008

As there is little chance of there being a solar or any other alternative power laptops coming in the not too distant future, it seems that the logical way to go would be getting some eco friendly batteries installed into laptops.

One manufacturer is already ahead of the game, Hewlett Packard are bringing in a new range of laptop batteries which are free of wasteful plastics and heavy metals making them much more easier to recycle when they are finished with. Which incidentally is said to be around ten times longer lasting, even though they have a price tag of around $30?
