Humans Threaten Ocean Sanctuary Preserve
As usual, who would the blame be put on other than man himself when it comes to issues surrounding the safety of natural resources and preserves like the Stellwagen Bank a sanctuary for preservation of sea life. While it is only normal to see that this is a source of food as well, the improper practice of harvesting and ravaging the marine habitats has been something that has been a cause for alarm.
Many declare the Stellwagen Bank a sacred sanctuary but only in mind and not by heart. People disregard the meaning when they are in the spot. Here is a better overview of the threat to the Stellwagen Bank as reported by the Boston Globe:
