Hybrid Ice Skating Rinks The New Winter Rage

Winter brings us holiday cheer and plenty of snow and ice. And with snow and ice come local make-shift ice skating rinks.
But not the typical ice skating rinks. This year many parks, zoo’s and local Christmas centers are putting up hybrid ice skating rinks. These require no electricity as it’s not really ice but a plastic type material on the ground.
You can still skate as usual and no other notable differences exist with these hybrid ice rinks, other than a degree of environmental benefit.
To see if there is one near you, Google hybrid ice skating rink and your citys name. Such as this “hybrid ice skating rink + chicago” and take the family out for a fantastically eco ice time.
