It doesn’t get better than this
The device that I am going to talks about is the Eco Electric and it is truly incredible. The whole idea of this is to produce electricity from waste; yes this is the 21st century version of “Mr Fusion” from “back to the Future”.
This device is placed in the yard and your kitchen waste is put into the composter, while the water waste actually generates electricity via a small turbine placed onto the side of the Eco Electric device, the turbine is power by the waste water which is channelled through piping to the device.
This fully automated system gives the user a complete read out of the water usage and the amount of electricity consumed through the digital interface, which is easy to read and operate. This looks like a very viable solution for measuring the amount of water that is used, with the added bonus of generating electricity too, you simply cannot get greener than that.
