Krylon Industrial Eco-Guard for Eco-Friendly Culinary Designs
Prints on shirts or uniforms is important for identity. However, the way they are printed is what the Eco-Guard is really all about. Eco-Guard is the industry’s only latex (not water-reducible) paint. It is extremely low odor with contents under pressure and an MIR-compliant formula, which make it the safest paint to use indoors, in any environment. Project organizers tried several other environmental spray paints and found that Eco-Guard was the only product that would work for their application.
The aprons were designed by Caroline B. Marx, costume designer for “High School Musical 3: Senior Year,” in collaboration with Elisa Jimenez, a contestant on season four of “Project Runway.” Forty aprons from the new Chefwear line of colored, organic culinary uniforms were used as the canvas for the hand-painted artwork.
