Lamps made from milk cartons
Plastic milk cartons or jugs can be a bit of a pain, they are great for carrying and storing the white stuff in, but on the down side, they are large and made of plastic, which makes it fairly difficult to dispose of. Yes of course they can be recycled, but there is news that a lot of recycled waste is still actually being disposed of into landfill sites, because local governments cannot store it for long.
However every now and then there are some designers that come along with a great idea and iPlay Design have done just that with these milk cartons. They even supply kits to help people create their own lamps, which can be decorated to their own designs.
Now you know what to do with those old discarded milk cartons, use your imagination to shed some light onto it!
