Lexus not so eco friendly
Well that is according to the Advertising Standards Authority in the UK, this has come about from an advertising campaign that the Lexus motor company ran for the Lexus RX400h, this was a magazine ad and the headline was “High Performance. Low Emissions. Zero Guilt.” this sparked a huge amount of complaints, arguing that the ad implied that the car would cause little or no harm to the environment.
Lexus tried to say that within the SUV category the RX400h had low emissions, the authority stated that the headline was misleading and that the car company should make such comparisons in any future car adverts, unless they could prove their claims, of course.
