Light with a 100,000 hour life

by David Allen on Friday, November 9th, 2007

This light is seriously cheap to run, costing around twenty cents per year to run; now clearly you’re not just going to have the one, but never the less, that’s cheap!

long life light

The XNite lite uses only one Watt of energy and will last on average for around 100,000 hours which is great, although it may not be powerful enough to read by it will save having to leave the main lights on at night etc.

These light plug into the electric socket in wall and have a built in sensor which will turn the light on and off as and when required.
