Lipodiesel Used to Power SUVs
This is something that was not done commercially but more of as an experiment but it looks like a liposuction doctor may have stumbled on something as far as putting to use extracted fats from a patient that underwent a liposuction procedure. The new fuel is being branded as Lipodiesel.
Dr. Alan Bittner, a leading Beverly Hills cosmetic surgeon has made claims that he has discovered an alternative way of fueling cars by using removed fats from clients in liposuction procedures.
But the thing is you have to find him. It looks like he has moved following the closure of his clinic in Rodeo Drive. It was closed not because of his practice but more of legal issues regarding the licensing on carrying out operations by his girlfriend.
‘Not only do they get to lose their love handles or chubby belly, but they get to take part in saving the Earth.’ U.S. authorities are less impressed and have launched an inquiry into his claims that he is converting the waste fat into bio-diesel – or ‘lipodiesel’ as he calls it.
However, it is illegal in the U.S. to use human medical waste to power vehicles.
The doctor is being investigated by California’s public health department. Dr Bittner’s lawyer didn’t return calls seeking comment.
The magazine said his activities came to light after recent lawsuits filed by patients that allege he allowed his assistant and his girlfriend to perform surgery when neither held a medical licence.
