It’s not my website. The reason your local banks didn’t show up is probably because they don’t have a website or online presence or they don’t offer reward checking.

I do 99% of my banking online…..no paper at all. But, there is no financial incentive for me doing so, its all just because it is soooo much simpler!

Great post! I much prefer paperless. It’s easier and faster online anyway. No paper needed

Community banks are great at offering online pay and pass the savings on to their customers. Their reward checking program and responsible loan practice has made them emerge as the more appealing alternative.

You should look into Checking Finder (https://www.checkingfinder.com/). This search tool will find community banks paying up to 7% for reward checking. Just type in your zip.

I haven’t even connected the dots there, that we actually save trees by using online banking and saving on paper. I prefer it over going to the bank, it saves me time and I feel like I have all the control. But this program really comes as surprise.

It would be great to see more of them, that could change things in the long term.

This is really a great program. More banks need to start providing incentives for going paperless since the bank save tons of money when you do so. It could really make a huge difference and save us money too

Yes that is correct. Online banking has been around for some time and though it was not really aimed at being eco-friendly but more on making life easier for consumers, you have to admit that online banking does have some perks in the eco-friendly nature.

Did I read this correctly “Green$ense allows customers to earn up to $120 annually for each electronic transaction they make, including debit transactions, online bill payments and recurring payments.”

We can see a program that can change the way people refer to banking.Since the Ecofriendly initiative by the gonernment alot of improvement have come in place. Thanks

I wish more banks had programs like this. I do all of my banking online, but with no financial gain because of it. I still do get good feeling from saving trees though.
