Marks and Spencer say no to free bags

by David Allen on Thursday, February 28th, 2008

It is the end of the line for the free plastic bag at the high streets most popular store Marks and Spencer. They have made the decision to stop giving away free plastic bags when someone buys something from them and charge them 5p for each bag that the customer wants.

To make things easier the store will be giving away bags for life throughout April in order to start charging for the plastic bags in May. Of course there are those people who like the free bag system, so it is a matter of getting used to change.
