Made From Recycled Plastic Bottles: Motorola W233
Fresh from an appearance at CES in Vegas is the new and eco friendly Motorola W233 cell phone.
What makes it eco friendly? The body of the Moto W233 is made using recycled water bottles and the phone itself is 100% recyclable. The minds at Motorola have also partnered up with Carbon Fund to offset the manufacturing of the phone.
But don’t expect frills with this phone, as it is an early adopter in the green scene. Many manufacturers are coming out with eco phones but most of them so far are quite entry level. The Motorola W233 has no camera no bluetooth but on the flip side it has a fantasticly long lasting battery and a talk time of 9 hours. That may or may not sell the phone, but it is a nice early eco cell entry from the big M.
Not yet available and no price has been determined.
