Folio Mag announces that National Geographic will discontinue publication of its quarterly consumer Green Guide.
The National Geographic’s Green Guide was published four times a year and aimed at the regular consumer seeking tips on green living and green products.
The print version of the Green Guide will cease after next fall, and plans are to focus on the website and the mobile version of the guide. My best guess on why is that printing is just not an option right now for many publishing houses, as cost is too high. It’s all about the web and going digital from now on.
