I think it's great that everyone is so interested in reusbale bags. I never realized just how bad it is. I found out that hundreds of thousands of ocean wildlife are being killed each year from eating these plastic grocery bags. And we all know alot more negative affects.
I would like to say that the reusable bags they are selling in the stores are not (in my mind) eco-friendly. They are made of polypropylene which is plastic! Yes, they are reusable and thats better than nothing. But they are still made of plstic that takes years to decompose, still emit toxins into the air and ground while being made and decomposing. They are cheap, but they are small, usually imported and badly made. I think if you really want to be eco-friendly you should use cotton, hemp, jute or something natural.

We make 100% cotton reusable grocery/shopping bags, by hand here in the USA. They are high quality, will last for years and look alot better than those little pp bags. Check it out at www.thegreatbag.com
