by erin on Sunday, May 27th, 2007

Norprint, a printing and paper company has recently launched a new line of labels and services called Eco-Green Label Range, which are designed to appeal to the environmentally conscious food business.

The labels will be recycled, light-weight and compostable and come in a range of material and adhesives for both primary and secondary packaging.

“We already supply a wide choice of labels with environmental credentials,” Chris Powell, Norprint’s marketing manager said in a recent interview. “Bringing them together under a single brand will make it easier for processors and packers to identify and understand what we have to offer. It also reflects the growing interest in these types of products throughout the food industry.”

If only the food was as green friendly as its labels are going to be.
